The interpretation of “Auckland” means both permanent and volunteer brigades within the Auckland Fire Region (2010). The area includes fire brigades in previously known configurations as fire brigade or within area, district, division or region, which includes North Shore and all surrounding volunteer brigades.
Full membership is open to all persons employed by the Auckland Fire Brigade, or any other full time & Volunteer fire brigade, Fire prevention or Protection service, along with retired employees/volunteers of the above mentioned services and any other interested individuals. Associate membership is available for those living overseas who are unable to attend meetings/workshops etc. Associate members will receive the newsletter, can attend the AGM but cannot vote or hold an official position within the Society. We also have a Brigade/Corporate membership available.

]]>We are focussed on recognising and responding to the social, cultural, recreational and educational needs of the Glenfield/ Kaipātiki community, and finding ways to meet these needs with special recognition for those who have the least opportunity to participate in decision-making in the community.
We provide rooms within the Centre for the community to hire in order to run community-focussed workshops, seminars, training and support networks. We act as a referral point for information, administer and maintain the facility, and liaise with other organisations to raise awareness about issues affecting our local community.

]]>Every year thousands of people pass through our doors at the Jubilee Building to participate in community classes and activities; attend meetings, weddings, seminars, church services and numerous other gatherings within the venue; shop at the popular weekly Parnell Farmers’ Market and the new monthly Craft Harvest; visit the Library, seek free advice from Justices of the Peace on Tuesdays, bring their babies to visit Plunket and embark on guided walks to nearby heritage icons.
Within Parnell Community Centre, Parnell Trust offers a rich programme of community classes and activities throughout the year. Parnell Trust also offers a growing programme of classes and activities in Inner City Auckland, for the growing population of residents in the CBD.

Epsom and Mt Eden are significant areas in the early growth of Auckland city and have an interesting and diverse history.
