For over 50 years Diabetes NZ Auckland Branch has been providing support to those living with diabetes, promoting wellness and preventing diabetes where possible. The Auckland Branch team is dedicated in its mission to raise awareness of diabetes to support wellness / hauora for all Aucklanders. In October 2012, Diabetes Auckland Inc became a branch of  Diabetes New Zealand Inc.

The Auckland Branch team provides community health promotion, education and awareness; health professional training; mobile diabetes awareness services; membership services, support groups and diabetes supplies. The Auckland Branch also act as an advocate and speak to employers, health professionals, local and national government on behalf of people with diabetes or people at risk of diabetes.
