Shine is a national not-for-profit agency providing a range of specialist services to help victims of domestic abuse and their children to get safe and stay safe. We provide: free national Helpline support seven days a week; 24-hour professional crisis and advocacy support for adult victims; KIDshine – supporting children traumatised from witnessing violence in the home, No Excuses – a stopping violence programme for men; women’s refuges and transition houses; inter-agency network coordination; and training for professionals such as social workers, medical staff and police around the country.
