We are a locally elected independent society incorporated in 1991 working for the preservation of the whole of Tamaki Drive as a scenic and recreational resource, as well as our direct route to Auckland city.

Aims:

Protect Tamaki Drive as a Scenic Way, public amenity and visitor destination

Preserve the accessible coastal environment for people to live, work, enjoy and as a regional visitor destination

Protect the natural character and enhance recreation opportunities and amenities

Resist further commercialisation and development on the seaward side

Advocate for protection of coastal vegetation, beach and water quality
