YouthLaw Aotearoa provides free legal help for children and young people under 25 nationwide.

We provide free legal advice by phone to children and young people and adults assisting them trough our 0800 UTHLAW (884 529) number.

We have special expertise with education law including enrolment, disciplinary matters and special needs support.

YouthLaw also provides advice and information on employment, fines, court, traffic matters, consumer, flatting, family  and other areas of law.

Please note that we do not provide representation where you can afford a lawyer or the state provides you one or you can get legal aid.

Our law related education team provides workshops and information sessions for groups of young people, parents/carers and adults working with young people, and we have some great resources on our website and in our phone app, available on android and iPhone.
