Albert-Eden Local Board is recognising International Day of the Older Person in 2015 with Aspire: a day to celebrate creative ageing.
This one-day event will involve workshops, performance and activities from a wide cross-section of creative organisations supporting older people. Aspire brings together a taste of the arts available in Auckland: dance, music, crafts and more.
All are encouraged to get out of their seat and get involved in the day’s program of workshops and to learn more about the community around us.
Learn new steps from Annette’s Line Dancing, join the string chorus with Hand Picked Ukes and hear performances from The Bell Birds and the Grey Warblers.
Flex your theatrical muscles with Marvellous and move to the music with Company of Seniors dance troupe.
